Sincere, sassy and driven by a spirited heart, Sandy Summers is making waves across the Australian country music scene. A dynamic performer from Cessnock, NSW, she blends country and rock with heartfelt storytelling and rich, expressive vocals.
Sandy was recently named Best Female Vocal at ACMs People’s Choice Awards 2026 & ICMA’s Best New Independent Female Country Artist (2025). Since 2023, she has released originals from her EP “Summer Storm”, alongside co-writes with 10-time Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell and songwriter Mack Country. Her releases have regularly landed in the Top 10 of the Australian Country Songs Top 40 Airplay and AMRAP Regional charts, earning recognition from the Tamworth Songwriters Association and the Australian Songwriters Association.
Her latest single, “If I Were a River,” featuring Lyn Bowtell on backing vocals, is flowing strongly into 2026 with “Too Many Sunsets” hot on its heels.
Sandy made her 6th appearance at the 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival, where she left a lasting impression.
